Ryan & I are beyond excited to celebrate with you all! Our love story has been convos about Scottish Highland cows, EDM weekends, endless laughter & adventures with our Kiddos & P-Dubs. Life with this crew is beautifully chaotic; we wouldn’t trade it for the world.

When God writes your love story, it's always worth the wait!

It all started with a glance, in October 2023, at our kids' daycare. I saw Ryan in passing and immediately felt a spark. But of course, I assumed he had to be taken (because how could someone that fine not be?). My heart sank a little, but the curiosity didn’t go away. I found myself asking the daycare staff little questions like, “Has he picked up Alexis yet?” or “What time does he usually come by?”—basically hoping the universe would send us into the same hallway at the same time again. Then, fate stepped in. We officially met in December 2023 at a New Year’s Eve get-together at my coworker's house. We chatted through text, and I even offered to help with Alexis' hair, but truthfully, the timing wasn’t right for either of us. Life went on… but I never stopped hoping. Fast forward to October 2024—boom—our paths crossed again, and this time, something just clicked. Funny enough, we’d been seeing each other all year at daycare, constantly exchanging friendly hellos, never knowing how close we were to something real. From the moment I saw Ryan, deep down, I knew. He was my husband—I just had to wait for him to realize it, too! During our early conversations, I gave him the nickname “my avocado.” Why? Because he was hard to open up, not quite ripe yet, I knew when the time came, he’d be just right. And I was right. On day three of us talking, this man pulled up to my place in the blazing Fort Irwin heat, mowed my lawn, and pulled my weeds. That’s when I knew: this wasn’t just someone special—this was my person. After a year of slow burns, side glances, and just the right timing… we’re getting married! Ryan, I love you deeply. I’m so thankful for every twist and turn that brought us here. God knew exactly what He was doing when He crossed our paths. I’ll love you forever, avocado and all. #TheDillingDuo2025
