An unique and beautiful love story. Coming from the North and South of Pittsburgh, after years of both living lives of travel, and fruitful single lives, the Lord found it fit, to have us meet. Through mutual friends, and through international ministry events, we finally met, and we both were.... sceptical, hahahaha! Neither of us imagined we’d be with a person like the other, but the Lord was at work. A year or so before dating, I knew that Jaden was interested in reaching out to a specific group of internationals, so when a female international student needed help moving, I thought it would be wise to bring along a female to help me, and I thought of Jaden. She came, she helped, but both were unsure about the other after that day. I thought, ‘she may be too much for me’ and Jaden thought, ‘I think I’m too much for him’, hahaha. Time passed and Jaden ended up overseas in that particular country. While there, I messaged to see how she was doing, and to let her know I was praying for her. It just turned out that as Jaden was writing in her journal about God having someone for her, I messaged seconds later! Upon return from that country, I wanted to meet up and hear how the trip was. I was actually co-leading a trip at the YWAM base at the same time, so ran into her there. We later got coffee to chat, and we seemed to connect in a different way than ever before. About a week later Jaden had a dream that I was in, essentially opening up her heart to the possibility of dating this unlikely handsome man. I was convinced that God was stirring something, and so I wanted to see what Jaden was thinking, and asked to meet up and chat again. We found out we both interested in each other, and decided to date intentionally. It's been interesting, getting to know each other with our complete opposite personalities, but realize God's beautiful design for us to compliment each other in such a humbling way.
