Are children allowed at the ceremony and/or reception?

Answer

Although we love to watch your kids run and play, our wedding will strictly be an adults-only event. So, call in those babysitting favors and get ready for an epic party!

May we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you be fully present with us at our ceremony, and put all cellphones and electronic devices away. We will happily share professional photos from Holly, our incredible photographer, once we receive them!

May we take photos during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

Yes, yes, and more YES! Please take photos during the cocktail hour and reception. Feel free to send them to us, share and tag us, and use our hashtag #doinlove when posting on social media. We can't wait to see all of the fun times you capture.

Will the ceremony be outdoors?

Answer

As long as the weather permits (fingers crossed), our ceremony will be outside in the grass.

What time should we arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at The Buckeye Barn at 4:00pm. The gates to The Buckeye Barn property will be locked at 4:30pm in order for the ceremony to start promptly at 4:30pm. Just this once, we promise Jade will be on time. ;)

If I'm only able to make it to the reception, when should I arrive?

Answer

If you're unable to attend the ceremony but submitted your RSVP for the reception, please arrive anytime after 5:30pm. The gates to The Buckeye Barn property will be locked from 4:30pm-5:30pm for the ceremony.

May we leave our cars at the venue overnight?

Answer

Although parking is free, all vehicles and guests must be off of the property by midnight. This is when the gates to The Buckeye Barn will be locked for the night. We highly recommend securing your own designated driver (Hellooooo open bar!) before the wedding.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable and feel your best. Please wear whatever semi-formal or business casual outfit you feel amazing in that day. When choosing your attire, please keep in mind that we will be in the grass for the ceremony and an open-air barn for the reception. Oh, and don't forget your dancing shoes!
