1. Has the venue changed?

Answer

Yes, due to some unforeseen circumstances, we’ve had to make a change to our venue location. Originally, our wedding was scheduled to take place at Crooked River State Park, but we are now excited to announce that it will be held at Laura S. Walker State Park in Waycross, GA. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause and truly appreciate your understanding. The new venue is just as beautiful, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you there!

1 1/2. Are there any parking fees at Laura S. Walker State Park?

Answer

Yes, as part of Georgia State Park guidelines, there is a $5 fee per vehicle to park at the park($3.75 for active duty military/veterans). This fee is required for all visitors, and we kindly ask that you plan ahead accordingly. You can also purchase a Daily Park Pass online in advance by visiting https://gastateparks.org/ParkPass. If at all possible, we encourage carpooling to help minimize the number of vehicles and to make your arrival more convenient. Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us keep things running smoothly! We appreciate your understanding as we make these adjustments. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to let us know!

2. What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. We ask that you please avoid wearing white, blush, or mauve, as both brides will be wearing dresses and accessories in those colors. We want everyone to feel their best, and we appreciate your understanding!

3. What time should we arrive?

Answer

Please aim to arrive between 3:30 PM and 3:45 PM to ensure everyone is seated before the ceremony begins. We want to start on time, so your prompt arrival is greatly appreciated!

4. Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Yes, there will be a variety of delicious food and drinks at the reception! If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let one of the brides know by March 16th so we can ensure there are safe and accommodating options for everyone. We want all our guests to enjoy the meal with peace of mind!

5. Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Yes, we have a registry with items we’d love to have as we begin our new life together. The registry can be found under the "Registry" tab on our website. In addition, we’ve set up a few cash funds for anyone who prefers to give that way. While we’re truly grateful for anything you choose, we’d be so thankful if you could stick to the registry or consider one of the funds, as they’ll help us in meaningful ways as we begin this exciting new chapter! Your love and generosity mean the world to us!

6. Will the ceremony be streamed?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony will be live-streamed for those who are unable to attend in person. We’ll provide a link to the live stream closer to the wedding date.

7. Can I make a toast?

Answer

We’d love to hear from you! If you’d like to make a toast, please reach out to one of the brides beforehand so we can arrange it. Due to time constraints, we’ll be coordinating to make sure everyone gets a chance to share their well wishes.

8. What if I can’t attend?

Answer

While we’ll miss you, we completely understand! If you're unable to attend, we will provide a link to the live stream so you can still be part of the celebration from afar. Your support means the world to us!
