Wedding Party

Putting together a wedding party is no easy feat. There are so many people who we hold dear and who have played a role in our relationship. The people listed below have supported us as individuals and as a couple. We are so grateful for the role they have played in our lives so far and expect that they will continue to have an important place in our lives after we are married as well. They have stood by us in life and we are blessed to have them stand with us on the day that marks the beginning of our future.

Noah Mejean

Groom

Jacqui Lang

Bride

Mike Kerrick

Officiant

Mike Kerrick is the campus minister at Murray Christian Fellowship (MCF) at Murray State University. Jacqui began attending MCF during her freshman year and quickly became involved in leadership. Once Noah moved to Murray, he began attending as well. During their time at MCF they served through leading worship and made many close friends, including some of the people you'll see listed below. Mike has helped the couple grow as individuals as well as together through pre-marital counseling with his wife, Dr. Sarah Kerrick. When the topic of who would officiate the wedding came up, there was no question of who to choose. We are delighted and honored to have Mike play such an important role on our big day!

Brianne Hunter

Maid of Honor

Brianne and I met our freshman year at MSU, and we have been close friends ever since. She is my best friend and despite our constant back and forth, I wouldn't trade our relationship for anything. She has always been there for me and made college not only bearable but fun. Brianne is the most empathetic person I know and never fails to make me laugh. She's been so supportive of me and my relationship with Noah and I know she will continue to be there for me long into the future. - Jacqui

Austin Jenkins

Best Man

Austin and I met the first day I started my job at Love's Travel Stops after moving to Kentucky. Austin has been like a brother to me for the past couple of years and I am thankful for that every day. He has pushed me to become a better technician and to grow as a person more than I could've imagined. Austin is strong-willed and holds me accountable through all of our endeavors. He has been supportive of me and my relationship with Jacqui, and I look forward to the adventures we'll take in the future. -Noah

Maddie Reich

Bridesmaid

Maddie and I were random roommates freshman year and we instantly clicked. Through our shared activities and literally living in the same room, she played a role in nearly all of my college memories. We have always been on the same wavelength to the point that many people thought we were related. Maddie has a laid-back attitude and a sense of humor that bring light into any situation. I had the privilege of being a bridesmaid at her wedding, and have enjoyed spending time with her and her husband (also named Noah). I am so excited to continue doing life with these folks. I can't wait to see where our journies take us! - Jacqui

Alyssa Vandiver

Bridesmaid

Alyssa was my third roommate (and landlord) in our four-bedroom in Murray and really balances out our little group. She is straightforward and honest with a sense of practicality that can always bring us down from earth. Alyssa is the girl you call if you need advice whether it is which shoes to wear or how to do your taxes. She has always been there for us and is always up for a good time. I have no doubt that I will continue to count on her as we both make the transition from students to teachers. -Jacqui

Emma Wolfe

Bridesmaid

Emma and I met through high school theater when I was a senior and she was a freshman. She is one of the few people I still hang out with from Cape, in part due to her persistence. Emma has always pulled me out of my attempts to be a hermit and reminded me how to have fun. She lights up any room with her enthusiasm, humor, and personality. Emma's like a little sister to me and it's been a joy to watch her grow into the amazing young woman she is now. I can't wait to see what she does next! -Jacqui

Skylar Ray

Groomsman

Skylar and I met when he started his job this last year at Love's Travel Stops and we instantly became friends. From the beginning, we both had fun and performed well when the other was on shift. We quickly grew to be close friends outside of the shop as well. Through his time as my apprentice, Skylar proved himself to be one of the most hard-working, confident, and driven men I've ever met. He teaches me what it means to never quit every day. Skylar has been supportive and protective of me and Jacqui since we met, and I look forward to him being by our side in years to come. -Noah

Drew Chumbly

Groomsman

Drew and I met through Murray Christian Fellowship (MCF), our campus ministry at Murray State University. Drew has been a good friend and just a super relaxed person to hang out with. We have had multiple evenings just enjoying the company of our friends as a break from work or studies throughout the rest of the week. Drew has been a key role in our group staying together over the past three years. It has been a blessing to have someone like him around to support Jacqui and me, and I can't wait to keep that bond in the future.

Zach McCarver

Groomsman

Zach and I met Jacqui's first year at Murray State University through Murray Christian Fellowship (MCF). After I moved to Murray and began attending MCF Zach and I instantly became friends. Zach and I have shared many interesting and in-depth conversations over the past few years. Zach is a very intriguing and light-hearted person who brings life to every room he enters. He has been enthusiastically supportive of Jacqui and me, and I'm sure will continue to do so in the future.
