We are calling our dress code "Garden Party Formal"! Think semi-formal to formal with an emphasis on pastel colors. Florals are highly encouraged too, and feel free to go crazy accessorizing! But do not worry, whatever you wear, we will just be happy to see you! So please do not stress on our account :) The venue is all grass/fields with the opportunity to climb on the rocks and dip your toes in the water if you wish. So please keep this in mind when picking shoes! It also tends to get chilly at night, so bring an extra layer! There are no religious elements to the ceremony, so any religious dress codes are not applicable.
We are saying "no kids" for our wedding because we want our friends and family members who are parents to be able to let loose and enjoy the night with us!
There will be a shuttle from one location (The Hampton Inn and Suites Rockland) both to and from the venue. The drive is about 30 minutes. There is plenty of parking at the venue in the fields if you are coming from elsewhere.
The wedding will be entirely outside with tents in the event of rain. If rain is forecasted, bringing an umbrella may be wise. Outdoor portable toilets will be hired as to not overwhelm the historic plumbing system in the main house. Please see the tab titled "About the Venue" for more details.
