Josh and Jacy first met freshman year of highschool when they had English class together. Josh was very quiet and shy and Jacy….was not. Later they find out they both had something in common. They both were on the bowling team! Josh was really good and on the boys varsity team with Jacy’s brother Noah. They became good friends and Noah would occasionally give Josh a ride home from practice making Jacy sit in the back of his Cavalier coupe. Josh would then ask Noah to tell Jacy to send him all the homework answers for the English class they had together. Annoyed by this Jacy told Noah to just give Josh her Snapchat and he can ask her himself. From then they became good friends and by the end of senior year they were best friends! The rest is history!

It all started with a trip to Colorado Springs while John Deere was on shut down. Come to find out Jacy’s best friend, Elizabeth, was headed there too just a day later! We planned to go see the sun rise at Garden of the Gods and Jacy asked Elizabeth if her and Ty would like to join them. She said “yes but I’ll have to convince Ty to go, so I’ll let you know” little did Jacy know Josh was already in communication with Elizabeth and she had already planned on going. After walking almost the entire park they arrived to where Josh had planned to propose, except there was a bus and a bunch of choir school girls practicing right on the rocks. They walked all the way back down to the park entrance and finally stopped to take a picture with the beautiful rock formations behind us. Of course then a man walking up on the path stops and tells them to go a head and take the picture and he will wait to walk by so he isn’t in the background. Finally after josh INSISTED he just passes by they got into position to take the photo. The whole time Elizabeth was taking a video getting the whole interaction! As they were standing for a second Josh let’s go of Jacy and proceeds to get down on one knee and asks her to marry him and of course she said YES! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
