HOW DO I BOOK MY HOTEL ROOM?

Answer

Click on the 'Travel' tab above. There you will find the hotel with block rooms for the wedding. There are also various Airbnbs and Vrbo rentals in the area that may be closer to the venue. Please use the links provided in the travel tab to gain access to our discounted rooms and make reservations.

WHERE CAN I FIND DIRECTIONS TO THE VENUE?

Answer

Directions to the venue can be found on the Sylvanside Farm website, here: https://sylvansidefarm.com/contact-us-2/ . GPS directions will work but are occasionally circuitous. Uber and Lyft are not yet prevalent in this area and are not reliable here in the evening.

WHAT TYPE OF SHOES ARE BEST FOR THE WEDDING VENUE?

Answer

Sylvanside Farm venue is a wedding venue and a real farm, so please be prepared to navigate uneven surfaces, gravel and grass. For your comfort, the venue recommends flats, wedges, or block heels, rather than stilettos for safety and comfort. Trust us, your feet will thank you!

ARE KIDS INVITED?

Answer

Although we adore your children, we’ve elected to limit our ceremony and reception to adults only. Bring your party shoes, but leave the littles at home!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you bring someone that is not invited, we will feed them to the pigs.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

The deadline is no later than 08/01/2025. If we have not heard from you by then, we will mark you down as not able to attend and will not have a spot for you on our wedding day.

When should I arrive?

Answer

You should arrive between 3:00pm-3:45pm to be seated prior to the start of the ceremony. If you arrive later than that, you will have to wait as the access to the venue will be blocked off until after the completion of the ceremony.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking at the ceremony location. There will be attendants directing you as to where to park.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will have a professional photography team capturing the ceremony. We ask that you do not take photos during the ceremony. Failure to do so will result in being thrown into the pond on the property.
