We met as all good love stories do, on a blind date in Tysons VA which was the mid way point between our homes. (Jackie had looked into Joey prior to the date to ensure it was not likely that he was serial killer and sent her location to the MOH just incase.) After being seated, we talked for over 2 hours before we took a breath to place our food order. After the 3rd or 4th hour of the date, Joey went to the restroom and Jackie paid for the meal without him knowing. We both realized on that date that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. Within a week Joey was hooking Jackie in with his romantic gestures and love for cooking and within a month, Joey had Jackie come visit his family in Maryland as well as join a family trip to where his father grew up on Hoopers Island. From piano bars, beach trips, breweries, festivals, Navy football games, and random trips to pick up puppies in Tennessee, we have only grown to love each other more and more.
