What is the dress code?

Answer

Friday's Welcome Party will be cookout casual: shorts, jeans, flip flops, anything you will be comfortable in but think casual. Activities to consider: lobster is messy, might be a dirt road walk from parking spots, yard games will be in full swing. Wedding day will be semi-formal: suits and dresses. Wear what you are comfortable in for summer in Maine. The wedding will be outside for the ceremony and dinner, so dress accordingly. It is possible that it could get chilly at night; it's a gamble for the end of June! Lots of grass, so keep that in mind for heels. We want everyone to wear whatever they feel comfortable in!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Our wedding day will be adults only. Kids are more than welcome to attend the Welcome Party or any surrounding festivities if they are in town.

I have dietary restrictions, will they be accommodated?

Answer

Dinner at the wedding will be served family style and will have accessible options for vegetarian, gluten free, and dairy free. If you have a food allergy please let us know. The welcome party may have more limited options.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking for up to 50 cars on the property (and can be left overnight if needed). We would encourage carpooling wherever possible. We will help arrange carpooling options for those that need it. Parking at the Welcome Party will be very limited and we really need help there with carpooling. We will be filling neighbors driveways as our only designated parking so help us out where you can and coordinate driving with someone else.

If I'm staying at a rental or other hotel, are ubers available in the area?

Answer

Ubers in Wiscasset, Maine are hard to come by. There are two local taxi companies but we would recommend reserving in advance.
