Both of us have many fond memories of the Great Lakes, and the National Museum of the Great Lakes is in downtown Toledo. The highlight of the museum is a retired hundred-year-old shipping freighter that guests can explore.
Marco's Pizza
Originally founded in Oregon, Ohio and now a nationwide chain, Marco's is our favorite pizza place. When you order, don't forget to get garlic and Parmesan on the crust (you can thank Jackie later). This location is closest to Maumee Bay.

Cedar Point
One of the coolest places in Ohio, an amusement park ranked third in North America. About an hour drive east of Maumee Bay. Super fun day trip, make sure you wear sunscreen! Jackie loves roller coasters and would come here at least once every summer. If you go, make sure you ride the Millennium Force- Jackie's favorite ride.
