We're getting married!

We met in Summer of 2019 while both staying at a small hostel on the island of Koh Phangan in Thailand. While our paths only crossed for 24 hours, a small spark of a connection was made that would rekindle during COVID lockdowns when time and opportunity provided the space to talk online and slowly build a friendship. In 2021, Jacqueline made an impromptu decision to travel back to the US to visit friends, and plans were made to meet up in Colorado and see what might be there. While both Jacqueline and Chris felt cautious optimism about the possibilities this trip might hold, neither could believe the bonfire that was lit during those 6 days together. They decided this relationship was worth holding on to, and after a year of long distance, in which Jacqueline went back to Bangkok to finish her teaching contract, she then moved to Seattle to start the next phase of life as a couple together. Over the past few years the relationship has grown and settled into a warm fire that continues to burn to this day and for many more years to come.
