Love is in the Air

We met during Super Bowl weekend in 2012—Boom will tell you it was love at first sight, but I (Jacqueline) just remember a fun Saturday night with friends. One thing I couldn’t miss? His impressive after-party cleanup skills. Meanwhile, Boom says he knew I was special after seeing how spotless my bathroom was. Romantic, right? A few months later, Jacqueline made me (Boom) a lasagna and a birthday cake for my 21st birthday. That gesture stuck with me, and though life kept us busy, we stayed in touch on and off for the next ten years. Whether through messages or brief hangouts, we always found a way to reconnect. Then, during the pandemic in 2020-2021, we spent a bit more time together. But it wasn’t until the summer of 2022 that everything truly changed, talking and texting almost every day for the next 6 months. It all changed on a December road trip to Arizona. Somewhere between playlists and pit stops, I, Jacqueline, finally admitted I liked him (much to his relief—he had been waiting for this moment for a decade!). By January 2023, Boom was officially part of my world. He even met my entire family at a wedding, where he got the all-important seal of approval. Since then, it’s been an incredible adventure together. We’ve traveled, attended concerts, enjoyed plenty of brunches, and made lasting memories with family and friends. Then, in October 2024, I proposed, and now we’re getting ready to celebrate the start of our next big journey: marriage. Our wedding theme, vintage travel, reflects the incredible adventures we’ve shared and the journey that led us to this moment. With "love in the air," we can’t wait to celebrate this new chapter with everyone who’s been part of our story. Here’s to making unforgettable memories together!
