Although we love your little ones, our wedding is an adults only event.
Our wedding venue does not have a parking lot. It's usually possible to find street parking within a few blocks, and there are also parking garages in the area. If you are staying in a hotel in downtown New Haven, we encourage you to walk.
We're delighted that COVID positivity rates are going down nation-wide just in time for our wedding! Still, the risk of indoor gatherings isn't zero, so *please do a rapid test the day before the wedding* and send the results of your test to jacobsnelsonwedding@gmail.com by 10pm on Friday, March 25th. Other things to consider: *Everyone attending the wedding confirmed that they are fully vaccinated in their RSVP. *It probably won't be possible to stay 6' away from other people *The City of New Haven recently lifted their mask mandate. We encourage everyone to wear masks when not eating or drinking, but realistically we are planning to do a LOT of eating and drinking. We completely understand that everyone has different levels of risk tolerance when it comes to COVID. While we would love to see all of you at our wedding, your health and safety comes first. If you would like to cancel your RSVP we certainly won't take it personally. Just let us know by the March 18th and we will find another time to connect with you.
We are extremely lucky to have love, laughter, and a house full of furniture. Your presence at our wedding is really all we want. However, if you wish to help us celebrate with a gift, we've set up a honeymoon/first home fund. We will have a safe location to place cards on the day of our wedding if you would like to bring a card. If you would like to send a gift ahead of time, you are welcome to mail it to us, or send it electronically.
