Downtown Mount Airy is a quaint mountain town with good food, museums, and antique shops. It is also the hometown of Andy Griffith.

We both have enjoyed many a date here with bottled Cheerwine and homemade burgers and fries. They also have an unlimited candy supply and antique gems to check out while you are waiting on your food.
