The Adventure Continues

We first met at Quaker Lake Camp, where we worked as summer staff together. We quickly bonded over mountain biking class, a love for Jesus, and a love for other people. The following April, Jacob came to visit our friend Hannah for her semi-formal in Chapel Hill, NC. As Hannah takes notoriously long to get ready for anything, we decided to preoccupy ourselves with good food and even better conversation while she prepared for semi-formal. One thing led to another, and after many multiple hour phone conversations, a few letters, and "friendly" gatherings as we liked to call them, we officially started dating in August 2017. After two years and three months of dating, Jacob popped the question on November 11, 2018 at one of our favorite historic sites, Fort Macon State Park, at sunset. We have become the dearest of friends, life partners, history nerds, teachers, and lovers of adventure. Here is to our next adventure as husband and wife!

We were able to get married on June 27, 2020 in the Crews family orchard with our closest loved ones. Enjoy some of the pictures from that day here and we look forward to celebrating with you our re-commitment to one another on July 4th!
