Jake and Jess met when they were in high school. They went to different schools and lived in different towns. Their story begins at the Burger King in Somerset MA, where they worked together after-school. After working together for a few years, they took a chance on eachother when Jessica needed a date for the senior prom. They went on a few dates before making it official and the rest is history. April 22, 2022, marked their five-year anniversary, on the best day of the year, Earth day! Jake and Jess went to different colleges after high school and graduated in May 2021. After school both got post-grad jobs, Jake at a general contractor and Jess at a school for children with behavioral disabilities. In September 2021 they moved in together, and in December 2021 Jake popped the question at their favorite place to go for a classic holiday tradition - the LaSalette Shrine for the festival of lights. Jess of course said yes to Jake, and on October 22, 2022 the two shall become one.
