Just one week after meeting, they shared a homecoming dinner. The rose above was the first Jacob gave Yamilet. Today, he still surprises her with single roses, always leaving one on her bedside table.

In November 2021, Jacob (16) first met Yamilet’s (16) family in Downtown Grapevine while they admired the beautiful Christmas lights together.

Every year on their anniversary, Jacob and Yamilet return to the Arboretum to visit the very spot where their story first began. October 29, 2022.

Jacob used to drive seven hours each way (fourteen hours round trip) every other weekend to see Yamilet while they were long-distance for four months.

Here they are celebrating their cat's (Atlas) first birthday! They threw him a party with all of their close friends!

The weekend after their engagement, they celebrated their new chapter surrounded by friends.

Jacob loves powerlifting and Yamilet loves running! Thankfully, Jacob has taken a huge liking to running as well.
