We are so excited to celebrate with you!

I first saw Jacob on move in day to 5th floor of Orr Hall at UW on 8/25/2014. I was instantly drawn to him, and even more so when he shared during our floor meeting that he played the banjo. I told my roommate Becca that I had a crush on him right away, so we started playing pranks on Jacob and the boys at the end of the hall, to get their attention. One night, a group of us were planning to go to the Cowboy to swing dance, but everyone else bailed except for Jacob and me. That really was our first date in my mind. I also found out that night that he drove a Jeep, so a lot of bonus points there! We swing danced the night away and he made me laugh so hard that my face hurt. About three weeks later, with lots of small platonic dates in between, I remember calling my mom and saying, "I know this sounds crazy, but I think I am in love!!" She did think I was crazy, but look at us now! I was in love!
