The Downtown Mall
The Downtown Mall is a vibrant collection of more than 120 shops and 30 restaurants (many with outdoor cafes) housed in the historic buildings on and around old Main Street. Enjoy dining al fresco at a number of fine restaurants, shop at any of the unique boutiques or meander by flowing fountains. Take in a movie or play at one of the several fine theaters.
Monticello
Home of the author of the Declaration of Independence. A World Heritage Site, historic house and plantation, museum, research institute, presidential library, and private, non-profit organization. Head to the historic Michie's Tavern after for a delightful lunch!
