Apple Hill
Fall is the perfect time for a trip to Apple Hill if you have time! With over 50 farms to choose from, there's something for everyone to do while also supporting local family-owned farms. Apple cider donuts are a must!! Our favorite spot is High Hill Ranch. It's one of the more popular spots!
Smith Flat House
A really good restaurant a little farther up Highway 50 from Main Street Placerville. They have a really cool cellar bar downstairs!
Boeger Winery
Coloma
This was where we had our second date. Coloma is known as a Gold Rush town. It's the site where gold was first discovered in California. If you go, we recommend checking out Marshall Gold Discovery Park. It has river access. Lots of pretty scenery and history!
