Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge - Walk or bike across for incredible views of the harbor and city. The bridge connects downtown to Mount Pleasant. Shopping on King Street - Upper King Street has boutiques and local shops; Lower King Street has higher-end stores. Great for an afternoon of browsing.

Most of downtown Charleston is walkable, but rideshares are easy and affordable. If you're staying in Mount Pleasant or at the beach, an Uber into downtown is about 15-20 minutes.
Early December is one of the best times to visit Charleston! Expect highs in the 60s and lows in the 50s. Perfect for exploring without the summer heat and humidity.
