Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The doors to the Boathouse open at 5 PM, so don't be too early. We hope to start the ceremony by 5:15 PM.

What should we wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire - colors and patterns encouraged! Note that the ceremony is planned to be outdoors, with dinner and dancing inside. There is also a ~5 minute walk from the entrance of the park to the venue.

Are our kids invited?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to space constraints at the venue, we are unable to accommodate kids. We wish they could be there and are sorry for the inconvenience!

I have a dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please note your restriction on your online RSVP and we'll work with the caterer to accommodate. Dinner will be served family-style.

How do we get to the Boathouse?

Answer

We recommend taking the B or Q trains to the Prospect Park stop. From there, you'll enter the park at Lincoln Road, and there will be people to help direct you to the Boathouse. It's about a 5 minute walk from the subway stop to the Boathouse. Alternatively, take a cab/Uber/Lyft to Ocean Avenue and Lincoln Road, and enter the park there.

We invite you to join us for Welcome Drinks at one of our favorite neighborhood bars - The Bearded Lady - on Saturday, October 3rd. Drop by between 5-8 PM, grab a drink, and check out Prospect Heights, Brooklyn!
