a day to remember

Jacob and I both had been single for quite some time, myself for 9 years and him for 3 years. We were both looking for a partner who was strong in their faith, thoughtful, loving, caring, someone who didn't take life so seriously, and could easily laugh together. No one met that standard for the both of us until we crossed paths. March 3rd, 2025 Our mutual friend Caro introduced us. Caro and I have known each other since high school and Jacob and her worked together. Caro knew us both very well and immediately thought him and I would click! Well, she was right. Caro told me a little about Jacob and the funny thing was I was NOT looking for anyone at the time, but she insisted I at least talked to him. I am so glad I had the "well it doesn't hurt to talk to him" moment! March 4th, 2025 Jacob sent me a message on Instagram; he seemed very sweet. We continued to message, then a few days later he asked for my number, texts turned into phone calls, then turned into facetime dates, and a few weeks later we had our first official date! March 22nd, 2025 Jacob picked me up from my parent's house, we had a lovely dinner at Logans steakhouse, and after we ended the night at Saludos brewery. When Jacob dropped me off at my house, we both agreed we felt something we had never felt with anyone else. It is like we knew right away we found our person. That night we both got into bed and prayed to God about our date. As you can see, God listened to our prayers and has brought Jacob and I so many blessings. Thank you to our Lord and Savior for crossing our paths. Thank you to him for speaking through to our friend Caro to bring us together. I can't wait to see what God has in store for Jacob and I. To a beautiful life together, Let's get married, my sweet Jacob! I love you!
