When should I RSVP by?

July 1st, 2025.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 2:15-2:30pm as the ceremony start time should be promptly at 3pm. Our venue is strict and will not allow anyone to be seated after the ceremony begins (to avoid interruptions).

Did you reserve a hotel block?

Answer

We did not reserve a hotel block. There are a few different hotels to choose from, as well as a few airbnb/vrbo options. Please let us know if you have any issues finding a place to stay. Keep in mind the venue is 45min-1hr from Norfolk/Virginia Beach.

Is there a dress code?

Yes, we request semi-formal attire.

Are kids welcome?

This is a no kids reception. We are having 2 kids at the ceremony (the adorable flower girls).

Is there parking for the ceremony / reception?

There is a large gravel parking lot at the venue.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Please let us know if you have ant dietary restrictions by calling/texting the bride or groom.

Whats the color pallete?

Answer

Thank you for those who want to really make our photos POP! Our colors are very earthy - think fall greens, browns, terracotta, etc. Please remember NO specific colors are required, just no white :)

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Our wedding will have an unlimited bar of a select menu. There will be a few bartenders present. There will be a tip included in our bill, tips are not required. We will have 4 signature drinks, along with beer, wine and seltzers.

Can I take photos?

Answer

During the reception, go for it! We do ask our ceremony be intimate and special, so please avoid using your phone during the ceremony. We will share the professional photos once received.
