Jacob and I met on June 9th, 2020. It was a warm summers day and we both recently returned to the Virginia Beach area. Covid-19 was in full swing, sending us both back home from traveling the word. Jacob was working Seattle, Washington, while I was starting a rotation in Louisville, Kentucky. We matched on Bumble on June 8th, messaged a few things back and forth. Our conversation that night was pretty boring, nothing too exciting. The next day we decided to meet in person. Jacob invited me over to "his brother's" house. Looking back, things could have gone terribly wrong (haha). We ended up getting Rita's Italian Ice and talking all night. If I recall correctly, there were movies playing but we were not watching them. We hung out every day for weeks. We started officially "dating" on June 14th, 2020. Over the years, Jacob and I have traveled to many states and even a few countries. On September 26th, 2023 Jacob asked me to marry him in Paris. The memories we made on that trip are priceless. We are so excited to celebrate our wedding day and 2 year engagement anniversary with all of our friends and family. See you all so soon!
