The Wedding Website of Nicole Apsey and Jacob Barsigian
Antigua is a very walkable city, which we love—but we want to help you find an accommodation close to us and the venue. Jake and I booked an Airbnb on 6a Calle Poniente, which is marked with a big red “X” on the map above. The wedding venue is marked with a red heart, and the reception is marked with a yellow star. While traveling through Guatemala, we’ve stayed in both hotels and Airbnbs and found that each offers something different. Hotels are great for the added convenience—they often help arrange transportation, activities, and have on-site restaurants, plus there’s usually a bit more of a sense of security. Hotels also have AC! Airbnbs, on the other hand, tend to feel more personal. They offer more space and are often a bit more budget-friendly for groups. Airbnbs often do not have AC in Antigua.
