We suggest arriving 4/8 early day at the latest!
We kindly request that guests refer to our curated Pinterest board for dress code inspiration and guidance. The board provides a visual representation of the style we envision for our celebration. https://pin.it/5NH6yIgPO
For getting around Guatemala, we recommend these convenient transportation options: Shuttle: We will share a link mid January with an attached form to coordinate a private or shared shuttle from Guatemala City Airport. Uber: A convenient and trackable ride service, though vehicles tend to be compact. Great for shorter trips with clear routes. Walking: Antigua is wonderfully pedestrian-friendly during daylight hours. However, we advise against solo walking after dark for safety reasons.
The drive from La Aurora Airport to Antigua varies significantly depending on traffic conditions. Navigating through Guatemala City can be challenging, especially during rush hour, when the journey may take over two hours. For a smoother trip, we recommend traveling early in the morning or late at night, which can reduce travel time to approximately one hour.
All wedding festivities will be finished 4/10 but there is so much to do in & around Antigua! We highly suggest spending the following weekend in Lake Atitlan OR hiking Volcan Acatenango (this is an overnight hike).. OR jakes preferred option -offshore fishing! You can find more information about these 3 options on our "things to do" page.
Please refer to the Hotel/Airbnb tab!
Our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. If you have any questions or special circumstances regarding children, please contact Nicole directly.
We kindly request that guests respect our vision for an intimate celebration. As such, plus ones will not be included.
We advise only drinking bottled water.
We will be in Antigua, Guatemala 4/5-4/11 then going to Lake Atitlan 4/11-4/13 !! Please feel free to join us at Lake Atitlan.
Nicole and Jake are staying in a small town called Jaibalito, between San Marcos and Santa Cruz. We recommend staying between San Marcos and Santa Cruz. This side of the lake has the best views!
