We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! We are requesting Garden Party Formal attire for the occasion. For men, this means a suit or lightweight tuxedo, paired with a pastel or patterned tie, and dress shoes. For women, this means a midi dress or dressy jumpsuit in florals, pastels, or bright colors, styled with heels or elegant flats. Obviously, we do not expect you to dress exactly like this: please be mindful of the weather, we want you to feel fancy, but still comfortable! This website does a phenomenal job of explaining some ideas if you are feeling confused: https://www.bjonesphotos.com/blog/wedding-guest-dress-code-explained-because-wtf-is-garden-party-formal-bmw2w Side note: we are kindly asking our guests to refrain from wearing shades of white, burgundy, or navy.
The wedding ceremony will be outdoors, at the Kidstone Pavillion at the Fellows Riverside Gardens. Ladies - please be cautious with heels! The reception will follow and be both indoors and outdoors on the premises, at the Garden Cafe.
TBD
We kindly ask that guests arrive 15-30 minutes before the ceremony begins - that way, everyone has time to park, walk to the ceremony space, find their seat, and settle in before we say "I do." The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM, and we want to make sure no one misses the moment.
When you are submitting your RSVP, please indicate if you have a dietary restriction of any kind so we can accommodate you.
Yes! The reception hall is about a three-minute walk to the reception location! Enjoy the beautiful greenery and landscape on your way down!
To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request you leave those under the age of 16 at home, unless their name is indicated on your invitation. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
Yes, parking is available and free! There are no time limits or fees for parking as the park is publicly owned. The parking lot is about a 2-3 minute walk to the ceremony space.
We're asking guests to honor our unplugged ceremony - that means no phones, cameras, or tablets during the ceremony itself. Our photographer will capture everything, and we'll happily share the photos with you later. Once the reception begins, feel free to take all the photos and videos your heart desires.
We're excited to share that we will be doing a buffet-style dinner..... There will be a dessert table and snacks to munch on while you sip drinks and wait for dinner to be served If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know when you RSVP - we'll do our best to accommodate you!
We'll be offering a variety of canned drinks (think beer, seltzers, etc), plus a couple of signature cocktails to keep the celebration flowing. Please drink responsibly, follow any venue guidelines, and have a DD or Uber to get you home safely if need be. We're keeping things relaxed and fun, and there will be plenty to enjoy!
