We're (Finally) Getting Married!

In eighth grade, both Nancy and Jacob attended Williams Middle School. They were both a part of the drama club's production of Alice in Wonderland. While there was limited interaction there, a French project ended up being the first real connection they made. Nancy wrote a poem and made it into a video production. Jacob and Nancy were cast as the assistant director and stage manager, respectively, in their senior class play's production of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. It started with late rehearsals and texting over mutual frustrations with life and the play. On several occasions, they would spend hours after rehearsals ended throwing a softball back and forth in the parking lot of the high school and talking about life. Eventually, they decided to go on a date.

Our first date was New Year's Eve, 2016. The movie? Office Christmas Party. Nancy tried to hold his hand throughout the movie to be.... romantic?? Who knows. Anywho, she miserably failed because the seats were separated by a weird pane that just did not let hand-holding easily occur. The rest is history.
