If you're going to stay at the lodge with Morghan and Jacob, you are all set. The couple has paid for 60 guests to stay in all 16 rooms of the lodge from Friday, October 14th at 4pm to Sunday, October 16th at 10am. So, it is recommended that you stay at the lodge with the wedding party and other guests. However, if you'd like a little more space/privacy, please visit the "Lodging" page on this website for other options.
Morghan and Jacob have a strict guest list due to the size of the lodge. The wedding is RSVP only, and the couple will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
While Jacob and Morghan love all of their family, young and old, they want their wedding to be a fun weekend off for everyone. They appreciate guests making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so everyone can celebrate with Morghan and Jacob.
Morghan and Jacob kindly ask that you RSVP by Sunday, August 7th. If they have not received an RSVP by this date, they will assume that you will not be attending.
Anything from dressy casual (khakis, polos, dresses) to black-tie (tuxes, formal gowns) is acceptable!
October in Kentucky usually has highs in the mid-60s (average of 67) and lows in the high 40s (average of 48). While rain is not expected, always expect the unexpected. It is suggested that you bring clothing for both warm and cool weather types.
The ceremony will take place rain-or-shine outside, in the Daniel Boone National Forest. For that reason, it is suggested that those attending not wear heels and bring a light jacket. The reception will take place inside at the Cliffview Lodge.
Due to its location, Morghan and Jacob are only able to invite 20 guests to the wedding ceremony. Because of this, only guests who receive invitations specifically for the ceremony can attend it. On the other hand, every person who receives any invitation at all is invited to the reception taking place the same day as the ceremony.
After the ceremony is complete, the bridal party will be taking photos in the Daniel Boone National Forest for an hour or two. During this time, guests are encouraged to check out some of the recommended things to do, as formed by the bride and groom, and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
If you've already RSVP'd yes and your plans change, please let either Jacob or Morghan know ASAP so they can plan accordingly.
There will be a full buffet dinner at the reception, including bread, salads, sides, main entree, and desserts.
There will not be any transportation provided between the lodge and ceremony location.
The ceremony is not wheelchair accessible. The reception and lodging are, though. If you need any kind of accommodations regarding accessibility, please let Ciaira Brown know ASAP via email or phone (information at the top of this page).
