While we love all of our parents out there and all their little kiddos, this is a child-free wedding. The decision to do this was to ensure that all of the parents in our lives could have a childless getaway weekend and ultimately ensure the kids' safety as the venue is on a cliff overlooking the beautiful lake views.
Yes! There is a lot of parking on the property for those renting a car or driving in.
The ceremony will be outside while the reception is inside (weather permitting). Please note that we are getting married outside in Alabama. While it will be the end of September, it can still be very hot outside!
We are calling it "Miami Formal," but it is really Wedding Casual. Think of flowy dresses, breathable jumpsuits, comfortable slacks, linen shirts, etc. No ties, suit coats, or formal gowns are needed. We want everyone to be comfortable and feel their best! NOTE: The ceremony and cocktail hour is outside on grass, please be aware of your footwear.
While the dress code is casual, we kindly ask for no white dresses, jeans, or shorts.
