it's finally happening!

Like most couples in the modern age, Jacob and Mikayla had both been active on many dating apps. After countless interesting or bad first dates for them both, they matched on Hinge in January of 2019. Jacob asked his infamous opening line: "How many alarms do you set in the morning?" (Which is a great way to find out a compatible partner in Jacob's eyes.) Mikayla responded with an exaggerated (or not) answer of "Probably 100." To this day, every morning there is a cacophony of alarms being set by both of them and they never get bothered. They had their first date shortly after matching on Hinge at Humble Wine Bar in Lakewood, Ohio. Their first date lasted over three hours with multiple courses of food, non-stop conversation, and the serving staff trying not to interrupt them even as they started closing up the restaurant. Even though Mikayla side hugged him after their first date... Jacob: "I was so confused!! I thought we had a great date, but then I didn't know if she liked me!" Mikayla: "I freaked out!! I was holding a ton of leftover food boxes and I liked him so much that I was nervous, so I blacked out." ...they couldn't stop seeing each other that week and after only 16 days they were telling each other that they love each other. Now, on their wedding day, they will have been together for 1,703 days filled with love, travel, family, friends, and caring for their two cats Mochi and Biscuit.
