What time should I arrive?

Answer

Guests may begin arriving no earlier than 4:00 and no later than 4:50 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM, so please plan to be seated by then.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony. Please silence your phones and enjoy the moment with us. Once the reception begins, feel free to take all the photos you’d like!

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding will be a Semi-Formal Affair, filled with love, joy, and timeless elegance. For the Ladies: Think floor-length or ankle length gowns, and chic cocktail dresses. Something graceful and refined for an evening celebration in April. Since our venue includes both indoor and outdoor spaces, we recommend bringing a light wrap or shawl in case the evening air gets cool. For the Gentlemen: We invite you to wear a dark or neutral-colored suit, or dress pants with a formal jacket. A crisp button-down, dress pants, and jacket are perfectly appropriate.

Can I bring my children?

While we absolutely love your little ones, our wedding will include a cash bar and late-night celebration. We kindly ask that only the children in the wedding party attend. We hope you enjoy a well-deserved night out!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We will have a cash bar available throughout the evening. While we welcome you to enjoy the evening, please remember to drink responsibly and use a ride-share service if you are drinking.

Will there be food and drinks?

Yes! Dinner will be served following cocktail hour. There will also be a cash bar available throughout the evening.

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will take place at The Carolina Country Club, so you won’t have to travel between locations.

How do I get to the venue?

FROM INTERSTATE-85 Exit I-585 (Pine Street) East towards downtown Spartanburg Continue through and past downtown, approximately 7-10 miles Take a right onto Country Club Road, just past Ingles grocery store Take a left onto Union Street, across from CVS drug store Continue on Union Street approximately 3-5 miles, past the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind Take a right onto Carolina Country Club Road, just past the Croft Fire Dept. Continue on Carolina Country Club Road for 2.4 miles Carolina Country Club will be on your left FROM INTERSTATE-26 Take I-26 Exit 28 (Hwy 221) towards Spartanburg Continue on Hwy 221 until the 4th stop light at Hardee’s Take a right on Hwy 215/Stone Station Road Take the first road to the left (Carolina Country Club Road) at Roebuck Greenhouse Continue through the four-way stop Carolina Country Club is approximately 3 miles down on the right

What do I tell the guard at the gate?

Upon arrival, please enter through the left lane and inform the guard that you are a guest of the Cannon Wedding. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
