Can I bring a date? Kids?

Answer

Please do not bring any additional guest that were not listed on the invitation. We are excited to celebrate with you!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please include any food allergies or sensitivities in the rsvp notes or reach out to Jake or Larissa directly. We are able to request a special meal if needed or organize other options.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is a parking lot on the property. It is a grass/ gravel lot so please plan your footwear accordingly.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We are planning a shuttle from Treleaven Wines to downtown Ithaca Canopy Hotel by Hilton. Ubers will be difficult to get from the winery so either drive or plan to take the bus to the Canopy, please make sure to rsvp for the shuttle. If you aren't staying at the Canopy you should be able to uber or taxi to a different Ithaca hotel.

Hotel Alternatives

Answer

Don't delay! Ithaca's Summer weekend rates at national chains are generally over $300/night and often require 2 or 3 night minimums. (Our hotel block does allow single nights.) If you're seeking lower cost options, look on the outskirts of Ithaca and read reviews before booking. If you're willing to drive 40 minutes from the reception to Cortland or an hour to Owego, rates are substantially lower. Camping options are about 40 minutes away and include: Spruce Row, Taughannock State Park, Treman State Park for $30 - 40/ night. Airbnb and VRBO are worth a look but also book up early. Glamping and upscale inns may have some availability in Ithaca, Aurora, Groton, Trumansburg and elsewhere.

Uber, Lyft and Taxis

Answer

Don't count on availability when you're out of town or at Treleaven Wines. You can probably expect service in downtown Ithaca except maybe between 2am and 7am. Note that bars close at 1 am so that's a high demand time. To call a taxi (long waits possible): 607-588-8888; 607-777-7777; 607-272-3333
