The Wedding Party!

Lacie Farmer

Bride

Jacob Shelton

Groom

Taylor Hughes

Maid of Honor

July 2012 I was introduced to not only my random roommate, but my best friend. From going through all of our college years together to now getting married a month apart, it's safe to say you do meet your life long friends in college! Even though toward the end of freshman year we were both ready to kill each other... I mean who wouldn't be after sharing a 15'X13' dorm room for a year? Yes, we have had our fair share of ups and downs but they never kept us apart for too long. I love this girl like a sister and am so happy she will be able to stand by my side for such an unforgettable moment. #WreckEm

Jordan Shelton

Best Man

We had our not-so-humble beginnings as womb-mates when our parents were 40 and found out they were having twins! Woo! Flash forward to now, through the tiny-tot arguments of "just because you're two minutes older doesn't mean you get to tell me what to do!", to getting my face slammed into the wall and him through closet doors (we were obviously the most gentle, tender brothers), we have lived much of life together and have grown so much as people, and even more so as brothers. Through the many ups and downs we've already endured, he's always been there to help me through to the better side of me even though we may live hours apart now. Some may say that's what brothers are for!

Taylor Vivian

Bridesmaid

The Texas Tech Stangel Dorms were the place to be! Especially the basement for those long nights studying. However, some people might not call the amount of work we actually accomplished down there "studying." Our friendship defining moment was this little class called Physiology that she literally helped me live through. Even now, she travels 300 miles at least 3-4 times a year to make sure we stay just as close as we were in Lubbock. Jacob and I wouldn't be able to make it down that isle if it weren't for you! #WreckEm

Johnny Blalack

Groomsman

This guy came into my life as random moving help that turned into my weekly Wasted Wednesday partner to get through college. From studying all night long for tests because we waited until the night before, to him pouring beer over his head in my living room to win bragging rights in a karaoke dual against Lacie, to his first big arena concert where I accidentally bought nosebleeds in the absolute very top row, to just being the best guy he could be during so many of the best and worst times... this guy has been one of the very best friends I could ask for.

Rebecca Maurice

Bridesmaid

Yes, she is Jacob's coworker; however, I stole her! We have been friends for the last 2.5 years and neighbors until she moved a whole 5 minutes away now. From just seeing her at Jacob's work events to now going to get our nails done and spending 4 hours venting about life, she has truly become one of my best friends. As she always says: "Your best friends are those that are going through the same steps in life as you." I wouldn't want to go through life without her that's for sure! #TravisRanchies

Dylan Jones

Groomsman

Oh, Dylan... the stories I could tell. We started off as friends in high school that turned into roommates in good ol' Lubbock, Texas where we really learned that we had no idea what we were doing with ourselves. This guy has been there for me through so many different stages of my life in such a short time. From the crazy nights that we only partially remember, to the ever crazy trips to visit each other now for New Year's Eve out in Dallas and river trips to Austin for my birthday, he's always there for the good, bad, and ugly. Every time we get together is a wild time that turns into yet another crazy story and I wouldn't trade that for anything! To a great guy and an even better friend!

Whitney Warren

Bridesmaid

Whitney was brought into my life the minute me and Jacob got together 5 years ago! She is his sister from another mister, and now I get to call her mine too! She has kept Jacob alive for 9 years now and now she is gaining a sister to take care of, too. I wouldn't want to stay up wayyy too late playing dominoes, playing stack cup or go around judging Christmas lights with any other person! I am so thankful to have a new "sister" to help me though this thing called marriage! #SistaSista

Kirk Montana

Groomsman

This guy is the friend everyone needs! We've been friends since junior high and we've lived so many great moments together through the years! I won't mention that crazy times we managed to fool certain cashiers at a certain drive-thru place as possibly underaged teenagers, but we have had our fair share of fun, no-so-well-thought-out memories. Even to this day, he will just pack up at the blink of an eye and just come stay for a weekend because why not!? Grown men still get sleep overs, too! He gives the absolute best advise and though we grew up very differently, we have shared many life experiences that not many get to or ever will. And, for that much I am truly grateful! My mom always called you her other son, so I'd say it's only fitting to have you be a part of my special day!

Taylor Lancaster

Bridesmaid

My new Niece! From river trips to waterparks, we have really got to bond over the past 5 years and I'm so happy to have her in my life! However, we have learned that we are both just as competitive and shouldn't be allowed to play charades together (at least not on the same team lol). I am so happy we have shared all of these crazy memories together and I can't wait to finally call you part of my family. Here's to a lifetime full of charade shenanigans and unforgettable memories! #ImGunnaHaveANiece

Jeff Walls

Groomsman

This guy has become an awesome friend in a short time. From hitting the gym (and sending me into rhabdo and trying to shut down my kidneys), to my first time shooting guns, to playing pool for hours on end, to him absolutely jamming Fergalicious as we were DD'd home from a wedding (and yes, he knows every word), this guy has been around for a lot in the past few years! If I were a female, I would say he's held my hair back far too many times to count. But, instead he gets to sit idly by, laugh, and then tell me about it later. Every time. He has helped me to be a better version of me throughout the last year, mentally and physically, and I couldn't be more grateful to have formed this friendship when we did!
