Question

Will there be food on the boat?

Answer

No, because of the timing of the ceremony (2-4pm) we are not serving snacks on the boat. Please eat lunch before attending. There will be drinks.

What's for dinner?

Answer

There will be appetizers starting at 4:30 at Stone. Dinner will be at 5:20pm and will be carne asada and shrimp tacos. If you're not sure we're aware of your dietary restriction, please reach out ASAP.

There's actually a boat involved?

Answer

Yes, yes there is. We are going on a large, open-air catamaran on San Diego Bay. Limited shade, but generally breezy. The mother of the bride kindly trialed the catamaran for sea sickness and had no trouble. For more information about the catamaran: https://triton-charters.com/

What is the dress code?

Answer

We personally find dress codes complicated. From scouring the internet we're suggesting: Garden, Beach, Casual. For women: summer dresses. For men: button-down shirts and slacks. Please no jeans or flip flops.

Do we need to rent a car?

Answer

You certainly can, but we don't think it's necessary. San Diego has moderately good public transit (trolley and bus) and plenty of ride shares.
