Maid of Honor
They say a sister is the greatest gift one can receive, and I’ve been blessed with that gift twice over. If you told me this back in 2009 when I used to speed race us to high school because Kaitzy was running late, I never would have believed it. Running late has always been a thing of Kaitlin’s. When asked to come up with a brief memory, immediately my most reoccurring & memorable moments are waiting for you to finish getting ready our entire lives. In 2025, I recognize how special those insignificant, unmemorable, anxiety ridden moments are. Last minute makeup touches… or for you, makeup wipe offs to look more “natural,” changing your top, or which pair of shoes as we rush out the door screaming “KAITZY, COME ON!” Weddings typically run late because of the bride, so it’ll be interesting to see what time you actually walk down the aisle (*important for guests to note). However, you truly are the greatest gift I’ve ever received. I would wait and stand by your side every second of every day in this lifetime if you needed me too. But, I’m also your MOH on April 17, 2026 and will be keeping you on time because I know Jake has already waited long enough for both you and this special day.
Maid of Honor
Kaitlin (or Kat, as I call her) has been the best middle sister since the day I was born. Through silly fights, stolen clothes, and everything in between, she’s always been my built-in best friend. Selfless, hardworking, and inspiring, Kait has a way of making her sisters and friends always look and feel their best, and now it’s time we do the same for her! Some of my favorite memories are running around our Jack & Jill bathroom growing up and celebrating my 21st birthday together in NOLA. I’m beyond excited and grateful to stand by her side on their wedding day and celebrate this beautiful new chapter for Kaitlin and Jake!
Bridesmaid
I met Kaitz in 2019, when she moved to New Orleans after college, because, honestly, she just seemed like a better option than the weird cat girl. My new roommate was a bit of a mystery. Who is this girl who went to work looking like Janitor Barbie, wore a FIJI tshirt to bed just like me, and parked in the handicap spot outside our apartment after leaving a sticky note on her dashboard that said she’d stubbed her toe? She is the most incredible person I know. Kaitz is my superhero. She’s made me laugh until I cried, and she’s been there when I’ve cried so hard that she found a way to make me laugh. She is ferociously loyal, apologetically weird and chronically late. Kaitlin deserves nothing less than the best — and that’s exactly who Jake is. He treats her like the queen she is and somehow manages to love not just her but all the people she loves just as much. Congratulations to Jake & Kaitz. Proof that the right person is worth waiting for… hours as she gets ready every day.
Bridesmaid
Everyone has that one friend you don’t have to talk to every day, but you just know they’ll always be there. For me, that’s Kaitzy. Even though we’re not the best at seeing each other as often as we should, we pick right back up like no time has passed, usually a few hour FaceTimes at a home Kaitz has been my best friend since high school. Cue the flashbacks: finding new ways to prank people, sneaking out to her house with tons of water balloons, getting yelled at together at soccer practice or doing a whole lot of absolutely nothing (our specialty). I’ll never forget the legendary prank we pulled on your dad at Yogurtland. Poor Kristina. Kaitzy is also the only weird freak I know who eats hot dogs at 5 a.m. before soccer practice and casually runs a 5 minute mile. Who does that? Only her. Over the years, I’ve been so lucky to have her as my person. And now, I couldn’t be happier that she’s found her person too. Kaitz, you deserve the world, and I know Jake is going to give it to you ten-fold. I can’t wait to stand by your side on your big day. Love you pooey
Bridesmaid
Kaitzy and I have been friends since college, which is also when I had the pleasure of meeting Jake. I’ll never forget the countless nights we spent running around Jake’s fraternity or our sorority house - playing games, pulling pranks, breaking some rules or dancing until it was way too late. Kaitzy has been the kind of best friend every girl dreams of having: my ride-or-die through it all. She has an incredible ability to show up exactly how you need her: someone to laugh with, cry with, or even just be mad with. She’s compassionate, driven, and absolutely hilarious. Her humor may be a little “unique” at times, but no one can make you laugh like her. And one of my favorite things about her is the way she always finds herself in situations you just couldn’t make up. It’s a gift that comes from her magnetic presence and her ability to connect with literally anyone. I’m beyond excited to celebrate Jake and Kaitzy - the best people, finding the best people. Love you both endlessly - it’s party time!!
Bridesmaid
Kaitzy and I first met in college, and her humor immediately drew me in. She is hands down the weirdest (in the best way) and funniest person I’ve ever known. One night I’ll never forget was coming back from the bars and seeing Katz dressed head to toe in what Jake had worn earlier—jeans, hat, everything. Jake wasn’t even with her; she strolled into the building alone. From the very beginning, though, Katz and Jake have been a duo—like a SeaWorld trainer and whale—always ready with an Uno reverse. Over the years, our friendship has only grown stronger. Kaitzy is one of the most thoughtful and caring people I’ve ever known—always going out of her way to make her friends feel special. Whether it’s planning detailed itineraries when I visit or just being her hilarious, wonderfully weird self, she makes every moment unforgettable. Life without her simply wouldn’t be the same, and I feel so lucky to have her.
Best Man
I’m brother Jake’s older brother. I truly cannot fathom a life without him by my side. Growing up, he’s always been there, whether it’s airsoft gun battles with my friends or leading him and my younger brother into stupid decisions – he’s always been there. Jake is the kind of guy who could walk into a room and make friends with every single person there. I’ve always been jealous of that. I’ve seen him make friends with a stranger at a bar, drunk as a skunk. He makes you feel so comfortable by just being there next to him. He cares genuinely and with his whole heart. When we were kids, we used to argue a lot, but ever since we’ve grown up, he’s been such a bright light in my life. We catch up by playing video games together, and it feels like we’re kids again in my parents’ basement, just laughing and having a blast. I’m the older brother, but I can’t help but look up to him and all he’s accomplished. Jake Logsdon is a rare breed, and I’m the luckiest man in the world to call him my brother. The way Jake talks about Kaitzy, you know it’s just meant to be. I’ve seen the way they look at each other, and I know Jake found the one. Cannot wait to celebrate them!
Best Man
Jake and I became friends in middle school and have been inseparable ever since. From working together in high school to rooming together all four years of college and later living together in Austin, TX, we’ve been partners in crime every step of the way. Jake isn’t just my best friend—he’s a brother to me. I’m beyond happy for him and Kaitzy and can’t wait to see the amazing future they’ll build together.
Groomsman
I first met Kaitz when she moved to New Orleans, and we quickly became close friends. I met Jake not long after, while he was patiently waiting for Kaitz to finish getting ready for a date night, and I instantly knew we were going to be best friends too. Once Jake moved to NOLA, the three of us became inseparable. From late nights out in matching costumes to game nights and Mardi Gras parades, I’ve had a front-row seat to their incredible relationship. I couldn’t be more excited to stand by my two amazing friends and celebrate with you all, especially on the dance floor!
Groomsman
I’m Patrick. I was technically friends with Kait first, but ever since I met Jake (aka Jacobi) at a Christmas bar crawl - he was rocking a mean stache - we’ve been boys ever since. Even though I moved to Ohio a week after meeting him, something he has yet to forgive me for, we’ve lived life in a BIG way. Jacobi is the definition of a true friend, and I’ll always think of him as the good times guy..!
Groomsman
Jake Logsdon (better known by his street name, “Loggerz”) has been a dear friend since middle school. I will never forget the days of making Noblesville our stomping grounds, equipped with nothing but bikes and skateboards (and eventually a Cystalwater Pearl Blue Chrysler Sebring). Jake’s a dependable friend you can always count on for many things - one of those certainly being a good time. Kaitzy totally matches his energy, and I can’t wait to see them get married. Let’s party!
Groomsman
Jake and Mitch hung out together for the first time when they were freshmen in high school, when they decided to sneak out in the middle of the night, just to hangout at the park for half an hour. They’ve been getting 1am Taco Bell in the Sebring, or 5am Steak N Shake breakfast in the Explorer ever since.
Groomsman
I’m Hunley and cousins with Jake. My life would not be the same without him. From the early days to becoming young adults, never a dull moment! Looking forward to his future with kaitzy and everything that comes with it! Cheers!
Groomsman
I’m Zack and Jake and I go way back. We’ve grown up together through plenty of adventures and questionable decisions. Somehow, he’s put up with me all these years, so now you all have to as well. Can’t wait to celebrate this big step with him and Kaitzy!
