The Delachaise
This is one of our favorite spots in New Orleans. They have incredible cheese boards, goose-fat fries, and great wine! We have spent many memorable nights here, including one of Jovanni's birthdays and where we met up with people after we got engaged.
City Park
We love hanging out at the Parthenon overlooking the bayou and walking through the Sculpture Garden from time to time. There's also a place called City Putt, which is a source of competition for us from time to time. They also have an amusement park called Storyland which is great for families.

Oysters from all over the country. Two happy hours: 4-6pm and 10-12pm. Great bartenders too:)
Eat New Orleans
Quaint place for brunch/lunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Reservations are taken the day of, and it's also BYOB (if that's your thing). A corner store is down two blocks on Dumaine towards Esplanade Avenue where you can buy wine, champagne, etc.
Trinity Restaurant New Orleans
Amazing food for brunch, lunch, and dinner! They also have a great drag brunch on Saturdays if you're interested-might be a fun place to go to kick off the Saturday festivities.
Blue Oak BBQ
This place is way Uptown and would need an Uber/Lyft to get there. But it's so worth the food if you're looking for authentic southern BBQ.
Maple Leaf Bar
One of the quintessential music venues in New Orleans where you are apt to run into some of the finest music (blues, brass band, rock and roll) in the region. It's way uptown but definitely worth checking out.
Bacchanal Fine Wine & Spirits
Want to sit outside under some beautiful lights and listen to some great music? This is such a gem at the end of the Bywater neighborhood. Uber/Lyft there and back to your final destination.
Markey's Bar
Great dive bar, right next to the Country Club. Great wings, homemade ginger beer.
Pythian Market
We love this place and it's right next to the Troubadour Hotel! The options for food here are all amazing and you can get whatever you like.
Cafe Du Monde
Of course, the famous New Orleans spot is not to be missed. Either an early morning dessert or a late night ending to your adventures.
La Petite Grocery
This is one of our favorite places to eat in the city. Ever.
