Of course, they have their moments of disagreement and arguments, but at the end of the day, they never give up. They choose each other, every single day, and continue to fight for their love no matter what. Jacob is Jazmin’s dream man. Karla is known as Jazmin’s “aunt,” though in truth, she’s her cousin. But because Karla and Jazmin’s mom are more like sisters than cousins, the title just stuck. When Jazmin and her brother William were little, Karla helped take care of them. In the early years, Jazmin and Karla weren’t so close but that changed in 2020. Jazmin went through a rough patch, and Karla stepped in without hesitation. She welcomed Jazmin into her home, where she lived with Karla, her husband, and their kids for a year. During that time, their bond grew stronger than ever. Karla even gave Jazmin an affectionate nickname: “her kitty.” Karla is an incredible person, fun, caring, and generous. She has the biggest heart and always tries to see the best in people. She’s the kind of person who’s easy to talk to and always knows how to bring comfort when it’s needed most. No matter how many times Jazmin messed up while living with her, Karla never stopped showing grace and forgiveness. She believed in her and that meant everything. Karla is the life of the party. When she’s around, you know it's going to be fun. She lights up every room with her presence. Jacob and Seth have been best friends for 14 years. They were close for a long time before they even realized they were cousins but that only made their bond stronger. One of Jazmin's earliest memories of Steph goes back to childhood, when Steph babysat her and her brother, William. Steph was always caring and gentle. Although they weren’t always close, things changed the year Jazmin lived with Karla. During that time, she and Steph truly connected. Steph became like the big sister Jazmin never had. From borrowing Steph’s makeup once to having long, meaningful conversations, Jazmin began to feel a sense of closeness and safety with her. Steph became someone she could be open with. Steph is the kind of person who supports those she loves deeply. She’s caring, loving, honest, and fiercely strong. That strength was forged through many experiences especially becoming a single mother at just 19 shaped Steph into the incredible woman she is today. AJ didn’t just make her a mother he made her a warrior: capable, protective, empathetic, and real. What makes Steph truly special is her honesty. She won't sugarcoat the truth, even with the people she cares about most. If you’re wrong, she’ll tell you not to hurt you, but to help you grow. Her love is tough, but it’s also constant. She’ll stand by you in your highest highs and do everything in her power to lift you during your lowest lows. Cynthia and Jazmin first met as little girls at Trico Elementary School. They were part of the same friend group back then, but life took them in different directions, Jazmin moved away, while Cynthia stayed. Over time, Jazmin forgot about the childhood bond they once shared. Years later, fate brought them back together when Jazmin was hired at the McDonald’s in Chester, IL. Cynthia was working as a grill worker, and Jazmin was on the service side. The moment they saw each other again, Cynthia recognized Jazmin but it took Jazmin a little longer to realize who Cynthia was. Once that spark of recognition hit, their bond began to grow all over again. Even after Jazmin got fired from McDonald’s, their friendship didn’t waver. Despite not hanging out all the time, Jazmin still makes it a point to stop by once a week just to say hi to Cynthia. During those short visits, they catch up, spill the tea, and share bits of their lives like no time ever passed. Cynthia is the kind of friend everyone needs. She's trustworthy, if you confide in her, it stays with her. She’s comforting, helpful, and fun to be around. Whether you're going through something or just need advice, Cynthia is the one to turn to. She’ll always try to make things go as smoothly as possible, and she does it with kindness and patience. Jadyn and Jazmin met through a former friend about two and a half years ago, and from the very beginning there was something special about their friendship. Jadyn has such a fun and silly personality, but underneath that is someone who cares deeply about the people she lets into her life. When Jadyn considers someone her friend, she truly values that relationship and always tries to be there for them. Over the years, Jadyn and Jazmin built a friendship full of laughs, conversations, and memories. Even though life has gotten busy and they don’t get to spend as much time together as they probably should, especially after Jazmin moved to St. Louis with Jacob, their friendship has remained meaningful. Distance and busy schedules might make it harder to see each other, but the care and appreciation they have for one another hasn’t changed. Jadyn also built her own friendship with Jacob. The two of them met when they started working together at a restaurant. Jacob worked as a dishwasher while Jadyn was a waitress, and over time they got to know each other better. What started as coworkers eventually turned into a genuine friendship. Jadyn and Jacob formed a bond that added another layer to the friendship they all share. Jadyn is someone who brings joy, kindness, and a lot of personality into the lives of the people around her, and Jazmin is grateful to have her as a friend. Kristy and Jazmin first met while working together at Ace Hardware. When Jazmin was first hired, Kristy was actually on maternity leave, so they didn’t meet right away. But when Kristy returned to work, the two of them quickly clicked and formed a friendship that grew beyond just being coworkers. Kristy is truly the life of the party. She brings so much energy, laughter, and fun wherever she goes. At the same time, she is incredibly caring and supportive. She’s the kind of friend you can talk to about absolutely anything without fear of being judged. Kristy has always been there for Jazmin in many ways, offering advice, encouragement, and support when it was needed most. Kristy has also been around since Jazmin and Jacob first started dating. During that time, she helped Jazmin with relationship advice and was someone Jazmin could always turn to. Jacob also built his own friendship with Kristy because he would often come visit Jazmin at work, and over time the three of them became close friends. Even after Kristy eventually left Ace Hardware and they didn’t get to see each other as often, their bond remained strong. Jazmin will always appreciate Kristy for the laughter, support, and friendship she has brought into her life.

Darby and Jazmin first met at Benjamin Bosse High School when Jazmin was a freshman and Darby was a junior. At first, they weren’t close friends. They knew of each other and talked occasionally, but their relationship was more like acquaintances than anything else. That all changed because of one unexpected moment. One day during lunch, Darby and Jazmin were joking around and being playful like usual. When lunch ended and they were walking out, Jazmin playfully pushed Darby. Later that day, they both ended up in the principal’s waiting room because it looked like they had actually been fighting. Instead of being upset, the two of them sat there laughing and talking about how ridiculous the situation was. When the principal came in, it quickly became clear that they hadn’t been fighting at all, and they were allowed to leave. That funny and unexpected moment ended up bringing them much closer together, and from that day on their friendship really began to grow. They have been close friends ever since. Darby is an amazing person, and it’s honestly hard not to like him. He has a way of making people feel comfortable and welcome, and even just spending a short moment with him is enough to make anyone want to be his friend. He’s also someone you can always count on to be there when it matters most.

Jazmin and William have always had a bit of a rivalry growing up. Like many siblings, they constantly argued over the small, silly things you would expect a brother and sister to fight about. There were plenty of moments where Jazmin was yelling while William was busy doing what he does best, rage baiting and pushing her buttons just for fun. It wasn’t always peaceful, but those little arguments were just part of their relationship. As the years went on, though, things slowly began to change. The fights became less frequent, and they started to appreciate each other more. Even though William still enjoys being a bit of a rage baiter every now and then, their relationship has grown into something much stronger and more meaningful. Growing up, William was a quiet, shy, and kind person who often kept to himself. Over time, he has grown into someone much more outgoing, friendly, and fun to be around. One of the things Jazmin loves most is seeing how much he has grown and how he now enjoys traveling and exploring the world. It makes her happy to see him experiencing life and making memories instead of staying in his room like he often did when they were younger. Through all the changes, one thing has always stayed the same, William is incredibly loving and supportive. No matter how much they argued growing up, he has always been her brother and someone she can count on. William is truly the brother Jazmin could ask for, and she is incredibly grateful to have him in her life.

Jacob first met Sam while they were working together at a restaurant, and what started as a simple coworker relationship quickly grew into a strong and lasting friendship. Over time, Sam became someone Jacob could always rely on. Sam has a way of making any situation better with his humor, kindness, and easygoing personality. He’s the kind of person who naturally brings people together and makes those around him feel comfortable and welcome. Jazmin and Larry are half siblings on her dad’s side. For most of Jazmin’s life, she didn’t know he existed. One day their grandma mentioned him to her, but Jazmin was still young and didn’t fully understand what it meant at the time. A few years later, they finally had the chance to meet, and it opened the door to a relationship that Jazmin had never expected but is very grateful for. Because they didn’t grow up together, Larry and Jazmin didn’t share the typical childhood moments, bonding, or even the little sibling arguments that she experienced with William. In many ways, Larry feels more like a close friend than a traditional brother but that doesn’t make him any less important to her. Their connection may have come later in life, but it is still meaningful and special in its own way. Larry is a kind and easygoing person who truly goes with the flow. His calm and friendly nature makes it easy for people to feel comfortable around him. It means a lot to Jazmin that Larry will be there to share in such an important and joyful moment as she and Jacob begin this new chapter together.

Jacob and Jonathan have been friends since grade school, and their friendship has remained strong ever since. Their connection goes all the way back to sixth grade, when Jonathan’s mom was actually their teacher, which makes their story even more memorable. Growing up together, they shared many experiences that helped build a lasting bond. Over the years, they spent a lot of time together, including many hours in the gym pushing each other to stay disciplined, work hard, and improve. Those moments of encouraging one another and sharing the same goals helped strengthen their friendship even more. Jonathan is known for his great sense of humor and his ability to make people laugh. He has a way of bringing lightness and fun into any situation, and his personality makes him someone people naturally enjoy being around. At the same time, he has always been a loyal and supportive friend. Having Jonathan stand beside Jacob as one of his groomsmen means a lot. Their friendship has lasted through many years and many stages of life, and it’s special to have someone who has been such a consistent part of Jacob’s life there to share in such an important and meaningful day.

Nevy Johnson is Kristy’s eldest daughter, and from the moment Jazmin met her, she left an impression that’s impossible to forget. Jazmin first met Nevy one day when Kristy brought her to work, and it became clear that Nevy has a personality that simply can’t be boxed into a few simple words. She is full of energy, curiosity, and a little bit of mischief. The perfect combination for a little girl discovering the world around her. Nevy is wonderfully wild in the way a child should be. She brings laughter wherever she goes, often turning an ordinary moment into something chaotic and hilarious without trying. Jazmin still remembers the days Nevy came into work and seemed to wake up choose absolute violence and chaos for the day, keeping everyone on their toes and filling the room with laughter. But beneath all that playful chaos is a genuinely kind heart. She is sweet and caring, even if she tries not to show it too much. After all, she has a bit of a bad B reputation to maintain. Her silliness, humor, and big personality make her someone you can’t help but smile around. Jazmin is truly honored that Nevy will be part of such an important moment as the flower girl. Watching her walk down the aisle tossing flower petals will be a memory Jazmin will treasure forever, hopefully she tosses them down the aisle and not directly at the guests. Jokes aside, Nevy is a bright, funny, and loving little girl, and Jazmin is so happy she will be part of this special day.

Aaron is Jacob’s nephew and his little buddy. From the beginning, the two of them have shared a special bond. Some of their best times together are spent building things, playing games, and simply enjoying each other’s company. Whether they’re working on a project, laughing over a game, or just spending time together, Aaron always brings a lot of fun and excitement to those moments. Aaron has a way of bringing energy and joy wherever he goes. His curiosity, imagination, and playful spirit make every moment with him memorable. It’s always a good time when he and Jacob get to hang out, and those moments have created many memories that Jacob truly cherishes. Watching Aaron grow up and getting to be a part of his life means so much to Jacob. Seeing the person he is becoming and being able to share in those moments along the way is something Jacob deeply values. Aaron brings so much happiness to everyone around him. His commitment to sharing God’s word and supporting those around him has made a lasting impact on many lives, including ours. Having Pastor Dan officiate our wedding is a very special blessing. It means so much to us to have someone who has been part of our spiritual journey stand with us as we begin this new chapter of our lives together. His presence on this important day is a reminder of the faith that guides our relationship and the support we have from our church community. Susana Ardón is Jazmin’s mom and has always been a strong source of love and support in her life. For most of Jazmin’s life, it has been her mom, her brother, and her against the world. As a single parent, Susana carried a lot on her shoulders, but she never let that hold her back. She worked incredibly hard to make sure Jazmin and William had what they needed and always did everything she could to take care of them. Even on the days when she worked long night shifts and was exhausted, Susana still found time for her children. Her dedication, strength, and determination showed in everything she did for her family. She always made sure her kids knew they were loved and supported, no matter what. Like many mothers and daughters, Jazmin and Susana had their moments of bumping heads over the years. They argued about the small things and went through the typical phases of growing up. But as time went on, those moments gave way to a deeper understanding, and their bond became stronger than ever. Today, Jazmin and her mom share a close and meaningful relationship. Jazmin appreciates her mom more than words can express and is incredibly grateful for everything Susana has done for her throughout her life. Having such a strong and loving mother has meant the world to her, and she is deeply thankful that her mom will be the one walking her down the aisle on such an important and beautiful day.

She has worked hard to support and care for the people she loves, always putting family first and making sure those around her feel supported and valued. Her encouragement and belief in Jacob have helped guide him through many important moments in life. Ziva and Jazmin first met at Wright-Way Rescue Shelter, and it was love at first sight. It took about two weeks before Jazmin could bring her home, but when the day finally came, there was no hesitation. Ziva was meant to be part of the family. On the car ride home, Ziva was full of joy and excitement, like she already knew she was going to her forever home. It didn’t take long for her to settle in. In fact, she immediately made herself comfortable, hopping right onto the furniture, something no dog had ever been allowed to do before. But Ziva wasn’t just any dog, and she still holds that special pass to this day. Since then, Jazmin and Ziva have been inseparable. Ziva tags along whenever Jazmin visits Jacob, and she even joined in on their vacation to Branson, Missouri. At 7 years old, Ziva still has the energy of a 1-year-old. She’s full of zoomies, we’re convinced she might actually be the Flash. Ziva is kind, full of love, and fiercely protective of Jazmin. She always wants to be at the center of every conversation and honestly, it feels like she understands every word. She acts like the main character of every room she walks into, and, truthfully, we’re all just living in Ziva’s world. She loves belly rubs, attention, and being part of every moment. Unfortunately, Ziva won’t be joining us at the wedding, but she’s definitely here in spirit. She's probably wondering why the biggest day of Jazmin’s life isn’t happening at a dog park with a treat table. We love you, Ziva.
