We're getting married!

Jazmin and Jacob first met at her workplace, Ace Hardware. Jacob and his mom, Melissa, came in one day looking for paint. They were in the middle of remodeling their home. Jazmin happened to be working the register that day. As they checked out, Melissa asked Jazmin if the store had any job applications available since Jacob was on the hunt for a new job. A day or two later, Jacob friended Jazmin on Facebook. Jazmin was the first to message him, asking if he had found a job yet, and from there the rest is history. Their first date was bowling. Jazmin admits she didn't do very well, while Jacob surprised them both with how good he was! on May 19, 2024, Jacob officially asked Jazmin to be his girlfriend. Jazmin waited until the next day, May 20th, to say yes. Interestingly, it turns out they had actually met before but neither of them remembered. They discovered they had once been friends on Snapchat, where they had texted and even talked on the phone. This all came to light one night when Jazmin convinced Jacob to re-download Snapchat. When he logged into his old account, they found their old conversations. Proof of a forgotten connection. There were several other times their paths nearly crossed. Jazmin was close friends with Seth, Jacob's best friend. She was also friends with Jacob's sister, not knowing she even had a brother. Jacob had been friends with her coworker when she worked at Tinos Tacos. They also unknowingly competed on the same team during spirit games back in grade school. Fun Fact: Jacob was originally supposed to move from Chester, IL to Branson, MO on March 8, 2024. But he had a strong gut feeling not to go. Jacob had been praying about it, and in the end, he decided to stay. By the end of March, Jacobs and Jazmins paths finally crossed.
