Wedding Party

Meet our family & friends who are walking down the aisle with us!

Danielle Pigeon

Maid of Honor

Danielle and I have done everything together except for the first 16 months of my life. We have adventured through switching schools many times, sports, church youth groups, and sharing closets. But most importantly, Danielle has been a steadfast source of encouragement and love through it all. I'm honored that we (supposedly) look alike and share the same mannerisms as she is my incredible & beautiful best friend.

Will Artime

Best Man

I do not consider Will a best friend. He is my brother. Will and I have known each other for forever. We initially met through church and became close over many house-boating trips. Growing up (and even now) it was unclear what we had in common that bonded us. It has become clear over time that it is a willingness to show up for each other. I have seen this in Will through multiple moves across the world, in early morning rides to the airport, in sticking by my side in times of trial, and in a hopping on a plane to be at Faith and I's engagement.

Kate Gieschen

Bridesmaid

Kate and I met at a scholarship weekend at a Christian university and later ended up running into each other at the UCLA's nursing school. It almost felt destined that we would become close friends. Kate is one of the most genuine and compassionate people you will ever meet. It only makes sense that since we did everything together in college (nursing, Cru, and working for undergrad admissions) that we will both be working at the same hospital come January!

Tyler Penn

Groomsman

Tyler and I met in our freshman year of college. We were in the same Bible study together which added depth to our friendship from the beginning. We later became roommates and led Bible studies together. Try as he might, Tyler was no able to instill the standard of cleanliness he maintains in his own room in me. He was able to build me up in a more prayerful, patient, and understanding individual. It is also worth mentioning that Tyler climbed off of Half Dome so Faith and I could finish the hike together (refer to "Our Story" on the homepage for more info). I will long remember the Summer of 2019 spent as co-hosts to an ever shifting apartment.

Grace Eaton

Bridesmaid

Grace and I met freshmen year of college at Cru and ended up rooming together come sophomore year all the way through graduation. I'm immensely grateful this rooming arrangement happened as we became best friends and encouragement for each other through different seasons. Grace is the go-to gal for any adventure and fun time. I deeply admire Grace's coffee skills, but more importantly I admire how she is a welcoming friend to all and cares deeply for others.

Austin Granier

Groomsman

I am not 100% positive when Austin and I became friends. I do know it was some time in high school at lunch tables outside of CVHS's 7000 building. I love hearing his opinions on topics ranging from theology to football players. We have a long standing tradition of watching HBO's "Hard Knocks" together and asking each other difficult questions we are struggling with. I admire Austin's work ethic and commitment to those around him. My walk with Jesus has been positively impacted by my friendship with Austin.

Maddy Johnson

Bridesmaid

Maddy and I met right before freshman year of college on a roommate search Facebook page. We took a chance and lived together freshman year. I quickly saw how gracious and loving Maddy is, and we lived together all the way through graduation. One special thing I love about our friendship is how our conversations always turn so deep & real so quickly -- I always feel that I can be fully myself and share everything that is going on. This was usually when we were up late studying for exams. Maddy is resilient in so many ways and always makes our adventures vibrant & beautiful.

Riley Campbell

Groomsman

Riley and I met in the sweltering summer heat of freshman football. We have grown closer ever since. As shallow as some readers may find it, Riley and I really hit our groove together in the weight room. He gives a new meaning to the Proverb "iron sharpens iron," always pushing me past my personal limits. This has translated into the way we encourage each other in our day to day lives. Whenever I see Riley, I am always greeted with a big smile and a crazy story from his work as a paramedic.

Jacqueline Carr

Bridesmaid

Similar to Maddy, I also met Jacqueline through a roommate search Facebook page, and we lived together all four years of college. Living with her, Grace, and Maddy was one of my favorite parts of my time at UCLA and created memories I will cherish forever (specifically running to get ice cream so many times). One of my favorite memories with Jacqueline was getting a Christmas tree for our apartment and decorating it. I loved rooming with Jacqueline because we kept each other on track towards our goals and encouraged one another daily. She has a beautiful soul that everyone should know.

Stevie Wyer

Groomsman

Stevie and I met when he responded to a Cru contact card. After a lunch at Covel dining hall, we became close friends. We would often get lunch together and talk about challenges that we were facing. Just as often, we would run into each other at the gym and end up pushing each other to be our best while there. Some of my fondest memories with Stevie are wiping out while surfing and sharing half-awake breakfasts during the infamous Summer of 2019. I always feel that I can talk to Stevie about anything and that he will always have my back.

Carly Matthews

Bridesmaid

Carly is Jacob's younger sister, but I am grateful for the beautiful friendship that has grown between us the last few years. I love how we have our own special memories together outside of Jacob like when I crashed on her college dorm floor. I admire how passionate Carly is about different topics, as it drives me to process through how I think (this takes work for an enneagram 9 like me). I am always learning something when I'm with her! I'm so excited to gain another sister through Carly.

Ethan Mitchell

Groomsman

Ethan is a one of a kind guy. When we met my junior year of college, I was sure that I had never met anybody that brought such energy, curiosity, and optimism to each day. Since then, he has continuously proved this to be true. Ethan has encouraged me many a time to open up my mind and realize what I am truly capable of. He also has no problem calling me out when I am in the wrong or do not act in ways that align with what I say. I am a big fan of this quality and know it has helped build me into a man who is ready to get married.

Emmie Matthews

Bridesmaid

Emmie is Jacob's youngest sister but the best baker in the Matthews family. More than that, she is a down-to-earth and kind friend. It has been such a blessing growing with Emmie the past few years (especially since she lets me crash on her floor when I stay at the Matthews') and learning from her independence and drive. I also love how she seeks to exemplify kindness to everyone around her. I'm honored I get to have her as a sister too.

Jonathon Karpman

Groomsman

For the first few months I knew Jonathon in high school, I thought his name was Martin. It took me realizing my mistake for us to become closer friends. I loved going out to lunch in his GMC Yukon. He was the driver of the famed five drive-through lunch break of 2016. Since high school, we have bonded over our shared faith in Jesus. I have fond memories of slow evenings shooting hoops and chatting about life with Jonathon. We also co-own a fantasy football team, so share certain highs and lows during Sundays every fall.

Amanda Burch

Bridesmaid

Amanda grew up with Jacob; he always described her as an adventurous, loving, and loyal friend. When I met her at Jacob's home church, I quickly realized how true that was. Amanda is one of those friends that makes you feel like you've known them for a long, long time in the best way possible. I love how we are always able to joke about boys and have a genuine, fun time together (she is the best person to play jackbox with). I'm excited because I know that our friendship is going to flourish even more over the years.

Timmy Gibson

Groomsman

I first met Timmy while watching the 2017 College Football National Championship Game. Since then, we have been roommates and seemingly talked about every topic under the sun together. I love how easy it is to talk to Timmy about anything. I also love how easy it is to beat him at Madden. In seriousness, I am so thankful to have been a part of Timmy's life. More than anybody else I have known over the last four years, Timmy has pushed himself out of his comfort zone and challenged himself in a variety of ventures. I admire this greatly and am constantly reminded to do the same myself.

Macie Matlock

Bridesmaid

I met Macie through Cru our freshman year of college and we quickly became close friends, bonding over our drive to have a good time and make the most of any situation. I will always cherish our memories made during sporting events, the strange art class we took together, Cru events, or at Broxton, the local brewery. Macie has a unique gift to make others around her feel so loved, and I can only hope to be like her when I get older. Macie has been a sweet and steadfast friend all throughout college.

Solomon Eibersteiner

Groomsman

Expect Solomon to bring the party where ever he goes! Solomon is bursting at the seams with energy and zeal for life. This is what stood out to me most when we first met in a junior year Bible study. He channels this energy into others so well. I do not think I have ever been with Solomon and not felt like he was fully present. It has been an honor to get to know Solomon. Ultimately, I asked Solomon to stand next to me on my wedding day because I had seen time and time again how he was there for my relationship with Faith. Through conversation, prayer, and just plain showing up, Solomon is the textbook definition of a loyal friend.
