We first met through shared friends and quickly realized how often our paths had already crossed. Growing up in neighboring school districts, we found ourselves at many of the same athletic events, games, and everyday moments long before life brought us together in a more intentional way. What started as a simple connection quickly grew into something neither of us expected but felt like it was always meant to be. Over the past five years, we’ve built a life side by side filled with laughter, conversation, shared routines, and the comfort of always choosing each other. Through every season, we’ve learned how to grow together, support each other, and feel most at home in each other’s presence. One of our favorite things is the way love shows up in the small, everyday moments —trips to Starbucks, workouts at the gym, sharing our love with our two cats — Asher and "Little One" (Jax), flowers just because, and always being each other’s biggest supporter no matter what life brings. On January 18th of 2025, we got engaged during a Caribbean cruise with friends. Before the trip, Jake asked for my dad's blessing and confided in my mom and sister. On CocoCay, Bahamas, he surprised me by asking me to marry him in an unforgettable moment, with the ocean as the backdrop to the start of our next chapter. We are so grateful for the people who have been part of our journey and so excited to celebrate this day surrounded by family and friends.
