We're getting married!

Jake and Emily met on Emily’s very first day of graduate school at Eastern Michigan. They were both in the master’s psychology program and ended up teaching the same class, which meant they shared an office. What started as two grad students figuring out lesson plans and office hours quickly turned into long conversations, lots of laughs, and eventually something much bigger. Somewhere between grading papers and surviving grad school together, they fell in love.
