We met in 2018 when we were basically babies, still figuring out life and thinking we knew everything. We “dated”, as in our parents driving us everywhere, dropping us off at the movies, hanging out at friends parties, & thinking we knew what love was. We went our separate ways, because well… middle school, but eventually found our way back to each other in 2019 during our early high school years. From that point on, we grew up side by side—watching each other graduate, dreaming big, and imagining a future together. In December 2023, we bought our first home together and felt on top of the world. Less than a year later, life humbled us. Things got hard, we sold the house, and went our separate ways, trusting that sometimes love needs time, growth, and a little faith. Even when life took us in different directions, we never really stopped choosing each other. We never stopped talking, sometimes still hung out (lol), and always knew deep down that this wasn’t just a phase. We had always talked about getting married and building a life and family together—it was never if, just when. Then—God’s timing. In May 2025, we found our way back to each other once again, yet this time stronger, wiser, and more sure than ever. One month later, we got engaged (in our favorite place of course), finally stepping into the future we had been dreaming about all along. Some of our favorite memories have been made in Tennessee—especially Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg—which have always felt like home to us. It only felt right to return to the place we love so much to say “I do.” In June 2026, surrounded by family, faith, and a whole lot of love, we’ll begin our forever right where our hearts have always been.
