What is the dress code for the wedding?

Our wedding dress code is semi-formal. The ceremony will be held outdoors, weather permitting, so we recommend dressing accordingly. There will be an indoor space to hang coats if necessary, and the reception will take place under a tent.

During the first week of November you can expect mild weather with an average high of 67°F and an average low of 47°F. If it is a chilly night, we will close the tent walls and add heaters if necessary.

What will the parking situation look like?

Answer

There is limited parking at Vanlandingham Estate so we recommend to Uber to the venue. If you choose to drive, there is street parking available on neighboring streets or at a nearby church parking lot. Please be safe and do not plan to drive if you also plan to drink.

Can I Uber to and from the venue?

Answer

The VanLandingham Estate is very accessible and just a quick 15 minute Uber or Lyft ride away from Uptown. Rest assured, you should experience no trouble arranging transportation to and from the wedding venue.

Answer

Absolutely. While not necessary, we appreciate any contribution towards starting our new life together.
