Where Will The Ceremony And Reception Be Held?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at: San Diego Botanic Garden 230 Quail Gardens Drive Encinitas, CA 92024

Will the Ceremony and Reception Take Place Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will take place outdoors. Please dress accordingly. It is highly recommended to bring some article of clothing to keep you warm at night with the May evening breeze.

What are we wearing?

Answer

The dress code is garden party meets cocktail attire. For this time of year in southern California, we suggest the following: Light to medium weight dresses or separates. Flats, block/kitten, or wedge heels for the outdoor reception on lawn. Suits or dress button-up shirts with pants and blazer. Floral prints are highly encouraged. We understand it is San Diego, however, please refrain from wearing flip-flops or shorts and make sure to bring something warm for the evening chill.

When should I RSVP?

Answer

As soon as you know! We kindly ask that you RSVP by Thursday, April 17th so we can plan accordingly with our fabulous vendors.

What time should we arrive?

Answer

We encourage our guests to begin to arrive at or around 4:30pm. We will be starting our ceremony at 5pm. With coming early, you will have a chance to get your favorite seat for the ceremony. Cocktail hour and reception to follow...

Can I Bring A Plus One?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to space limitations, we simply cannot afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we ask our guests to please not bring a plus one unless they are specifically named on the invitation.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have any food allergies or sensitivities, please do not hesitate to reach out and let us know. You can email us at chandlerplusjacob@gmail.com. We will make every effort to cater to your needs. We picked an inclusive dinner option for our guests and will be having freshly made tacos on-site along with some tasty sides (beans, rice, salad, and more!). Our menu will include a selection of dairy free, vegetarian, and gluten free options.

Will there be alcohol served?

Answer

There will be alcohol served at our wedding. For the ones who like to stay sharp AF, there will be non-alcoholic options, mocktails upon request, sodas and soda waters. Please make sure you have a ride home if you plan to drink. Lyft and Uber will be available in the area.

Will There Be Parking At The Venue?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available in the Event Lot (Orange Lot). The gardens ask that our guests please do not leave their cars overnight as they will be towed. We strongly encourage you to Lyft/Uber to and from the venue if you will be sipping on alcoholic beverages and cocktails.

Will There Be Kids At The Wedding?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this advance notice means you are able to relax and celebrate with us on this special evening!
