While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. Children are not invited unless they are specifically named in your invitation. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!
RSVP Deadline – Please RSVP by August 1st so we can finalize seating, catering, and transportation arrangements. We truly appreciate your response by this date
Accommodations – Please note that hotel room blocks are not guaranteed and availability may be limited due to the Labor Day Weekend holiday. We are currently finalizing a room block at the Marriott Syracuse Downtown, and are also exploring an additional option; however, securing blocks during this busy holiday weekend can be challenging. For the best overall experience, we strongly recommend guests consider booking an Airbnb, vacation rental, or one of the smaller boutique hotels and inns in Skaneateles. Staying in or near Skaneateles offers a more local, scenic experience with easy access to the lake, restaurants, and downtown throughout the weekend. The Sherwood Inn in Skaneateles, along with nearby surrounding hotels and inns, are also excellent options for staying in town. Please note that if you are looking to book less than the full weekend, availability may not appear online—calling these properties directly is often the best way to secure shorter stays or flexible booking options.
For guests flying in, the closest airport is Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR), approximately 35-40 minutes from Skaneateles. It is only 15 minutes from downtown Syracuse.
Transportation – We are arranging transportation to and from the wedding venue from both the Sherwood Inn in Skaneateles and the Marriott Syracuse Downtown. Shuttles from the Sherwood Inn will make it easy for guests staying in town or nearby to get to and from the celebration. We are also especially excited to offer transportation from downtown Syracuse, with the hope that it makes the evening more convenient for our friends and guests living in Syracuse by eliminating the need to drive all the way out to Skaneateles. Additional details, including pickup times and schedules, will be shared closer to the wedding date.
Dress Code – The dress code for our wedding is formal attire. We kindly ask that men wear suits; however, ties are optional. Women may wear formal dresses or gowns. Given the time of year and the outdoor aspects of the celebration, we recommend choosing footwear and fabrics that are comfortable for an evening in late summer.
Plus-Ones – Plus-ones have been specified on each invitation, and we kindly ask that guests only bring the individuals listed. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!
Weekend Schedule There is no formal welcome party planned for the weekend. The rehearsal dinner will be held privately for the wedding party and immediate family only. The wedding ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM, followed by a cocktail hour and then the reception. The celebration will conclude at 10:00 PM. We are currently exploring options for an after-party, but nothing has been finalized yet. If confirmed, additional details will be shared closer to the wedding date.
