FAQs

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

We love your kiddos and ask that you give them a hug and a kiss from us! We kindly request the ceremony and reception be an adults only affair. We're hoping this will allow all guests to focus on the celebrations at hand and allow parents some time to relax!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding is formal. For guys, this means either a dark suit and tie or tuxedo. For gals, a long evening dress, dressy suit or formal cocktail-length dress.

Question

Who gets a "plus one"?

Answer

All invited guests, including dates or "plus ones", are named on the save-the-dates and formal invitations.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We would love for you to arrive in time for Friday's welcome drinks at Murphy's Irish Pub in downtown Sonoma. For those that arrive Saturday, we can't wait to celebrate with you on wedding day! The ceremony begins at 6pm, so please arrive between 5:30 -5:45pm.

Question

Will there be transportation to the wedding?

Answer

Uber and Lyft is widely available in Sonoma, so we encourage you to use those services! The venue is ~10 minutes from downtown Sonoma. Alternatively, the venue has parking available (and cars can be left overnight, with the gate locking after the ceremony and opening back up in the morning) should you prefer to drive.

Question

Do I have to stay at one of the accommodations listed on the Travel page?

Answer

Most definitely not! There are a ton of hotels, bed and breakfasts, and inns within the city limits of Sonoma as well as within quick driving distance in Napa, Fairfield, Petaluma, etc. There are also lots of budget-friendly options on Airbnb.com and VRBO.com. Please feel free to stay wherever best suits your needs.
