Jake and Brittanie met in the way of all classic fairy tale love stories: at an airplane seat manufacturing plant. Brittanie was working for Boeing in Washington and the company sent her down to the middle of nowhere, Texas on a temporary five month assignment. Jake had recently graduated college and was working in Supply Chain at the manufacturing plant. Brittanie spotted Jake from across the concrete warehouse and began making up any and all excuses to swing by his desk, getting "lost" as often as possible. As soon as Jake took her on their first date to the finest dining that Gainesville, Texas has to offer (Subway, obviously), it was all history from there. Four years later, Jake and Brittanie now live in Dallas with their two pups, Lincoln and Ford, and get the opportunity to travel around the world through Jake's career at American Airlines, which led them to an unforgettable Labor Day weekend in Sydney, Australia....
The trip to Sydney began like many other getaways Brittanie and Jake had taken over the years: there were stand-by seats open on a flight and they had a few days off of work, so they decided to duck out of Dallas and head to Australia. The day Jake proposed, they had taken a morning run through the Royal Botanic Gardens overlooking the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House and couldn't stop talking about how incredible the grounds were. After playing tourist all day, Jake suggested they head back to the Botanic Gardens for a pre-dinner picnic with some wine (not a hard sell!). Jake had been talking about getting time-lapse footage of the harbor for the last few days so Brittanie didn't think anything of it when he set up their Go Pro to capture the sunset and boats crossing. After some wine and just before sunset, Jake (nervously!) got down on one knee and quietly proposed in an attempt to avoid making a spectacle. Brittanie said yes (and "oh my god!" about 1,000x) and they were embarrassingly treated to cheers from other park-goers.
